TRACKiT
TRACKiT was born out of a desire to fill a gap in the Portuguese market by developing a tool tailored to the customer and designed for the customer.
In the area of Fleet Management, we are present in different markets such as Control, Temperature, Performance, Security, Embedded Computing and others. With an in-house development team, we are able to create tailor-made services according to our clients' needs.
Viasat Connect
In 2018 we integrated the Italian VIASAT group in a combination of synergies that we consider to have been a determining factor for the company's growth.
With the Italian business group's expertise in the area of private consumption, TRACKiT decided to invest in this new business model with connected protection and security solutions for cars, motorcycles, bicycles and objects.
TRACKiT now has Smart Connect solutions, represented by the VIASAT Connect brand (Moto, Auto and Lock) and will soon have business solutions as well.
Targa Telematics
Targa Telematics Spa - a technology company specializing in the development of IoT solutions and digital platforms for connected mobility - has acquired 100% of the share capital of Viasat Group Spa, of which TRACKiT is a part.
With the acquisition of Viasat Group, Targa Telematics - an Italian company working internationally with offices in Spain, France, England and Portugal - will strengthen its capacity in the development of technological solutions for increasingly global projects, accelerating the expansion of its business in the different countries where it is already implemented.
As an integral part of the global scale projects will be the responsiveness and proximity support, which Targa Telematics will have with multinational groups active in the mobility sector, as well as other market sectors.
TRACKiT is now part of the TARGA Telematics group, providing an expanded set of services and expertise to its customers.
